is available through Wirral Council and enables residents to borrow up to £2000
(repayable over three years) interest free to cover the cost of their central
heating. You may borrow the full amount of the cost, or just part of it (the remainder

The Cosy Home Heating Grant is an initiative from Wirral Council designed to help
residents cover the cost of a new central heating system. The scheme is available
for those claiming Child Tax and Working Tax credits, Disability Allowance, Council
Tax Support, Incapacity Benefit, Jobseeker's Allowance and more. To find out if

Health Through Warmth (HTW) Dedicated
to helping homeowners with long-term illnesses, keep their houses warm.
Npower Health Through Warmth (HTW) is a project that was created to offer help
to people in England and Wales who have long-term illnesses and are having difficulties
funding heating and insulation measures in their homes. Clients dont have
to be or become an npower customer to receive help. The project has been
continually funded by Npower in their support for warmer homes and better health.
Who qualifies for help? Homeowners People
with long-term illness who own and occupy their own home in England or Wales,
but also have a low income and little or no savings (assessed) and cant
fully fund the work themselves. HTW will check to make sure the person
is eligible, so theyll have to fill in some forms about their income, expenditure
